into the Head of Channel Marketing & Strategy, the Sr. Manager, Channel

Marketing will be responsible for driving marketing efforts for mobile product

portfolio in the US working closely with Samsung s wireless carrier account

teams. Furthermore, the scope focuses on integrated go-to-market planning,

market analysis, and best-in-class Samsung Galaxy branded experience within

wireless carrier and national retailer settings. This role will provide thought

leadership to multiple marketing and cross functional support teams in mobile

marketing, corporate marketing, retail operations as well as multiple agencies

in the development of demand & traffic generating marketing campaigns, in-store

experiences, promotions, and comprehensive advertising materials & plans,

including experiential campaign. Must develop and deliver executive level

recommendations followed by action plans managed to completion. This role is

accountable for acting as a main business lead for all matters related to

channel marketing, driving revenue generating initiatives, both short to mid-

term and longer term, to gain incremental market share and overall growth. Role

and Responsibilities: Formulate and manage channel marketing programs,

including Go-To-Market playbook, to support product introductions and life

cycle management Manages product marketing, promotion, and advertising

programs and materials for specific channels and/or campaign periods

Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to drive CDM, media, partnership and

experiential programming planning and execution while representing appropriate

channel partners views in order to effectively manage product lifecycle

Act as main a business lead for both marketing and business matters (both

launch and lifecycle management related) representing assigned carrier (or

channel) account Develop and maintain excellent working relationships wit

all appropriate levels within andOutside the company Present analysis and

recommendations to leadership and assist in developing comprehensive channel

marketing overview strategy Act as the voice of brand and manager of

national priorities within cross functional teams internally and agency

partners externally Has responsibility for the operational performance of

the department; directs the resolution of complex operational and

organizational problems Ability to deal and cope with ambiguity at times a

be flexible Ability to negotiate on behalf of function to come to agreemen

by managing communications through discussions and compromise; issues are

short-term operational and medium-term tactical or limited strategic

natureSkills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree with 12+ years in

progressive marketing roles 7+ years of experience in channel marketing,

trade marketing, or consumer journey marketing Prior experience in product

marketing and project management required Prior experience in Paid Media

execution including recommendations on media mix, comm channel partner

selection, and flighting strong preferred Prior experience in high-tech,

telecommunications environment or retail industries preferred Familiarity

with marketing and sales channels within high-tech product technology industry

preferred Social media/digital marketing experience a plus Comforta

working in a dynamic fast paced industry and matrix organization with multiple

constituents Should have advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint knowledge and

skills Most important will be strong communication, both written (PPT

presentations) and oral skills The ability to work either independently or

in a team environment to achieve personal and team project goals, including the

completion of assignments within and exceeding established time framesSamsung
