The American Heart Association (AHA) has an excellent opportunity for a Customer Marketing Analyst at our office located in Dallas, TX.
In this role, you will help business units increase engagement and retention of current and future online and offline customers. The Customer Marketing Analyst will provide deep and strategic analysis of AHA customer data and trends. Using data analysis skills, this position will be responsible for creating, measuring, and providing suggested solutions for improving customer metrics. The Customer Marketing Analyst will provide support to the National Engagement Center, Volunteerism, Strategy Integration Team and some development activities.
The Customer Marketing Analyst will also be called upon to conduct data analysis projects for other departments and use their data analysis skills to help develop solutions and strategies for improving recruitment and engagement of current constituents with events and other health programs of the American Heart Association.
It is expected that 80% of this person’s time would be spent in analyzing data, looking for gaps and opportunities and working with staff colleagues to identify and develop targeted campaigns to retain or further engage AHA customers. The position would require 10% time on supporting online marketing efforts and 10% on administrative work. This position is a member of the Strategy Integration Team in the Field Services and Development Department.
The Customer Marketing Analyst should be knowledgeable and able to use the following tools: Luminate, Greater Giving, Microsoft Dynamics, Excel, Tableau, and Salesforce along with the One Heart Data Warehouse, and the donor revenue management tool (DRM.
Here are some of the essential job duties:
Provides analysis of data looking for trends, gaps, and opportunities to further engage participantsdonorsconstituents.
Works with development and health teams to establish e-mail key performance indicators and goals and tracks them regularly while providing staff leadership weekly analytics reports and making recommendations for areas of improvement.
Works with National Engagement Center, Volunteerism and other National Center business units to build and refine the digital customer journey.
Prepares project status reports and executive updates for development and field services leadership.
Works with other departments to analyze data, looking for trends, gaps and opportunities to increase constituent engagement and provides solutions for execution.

Bachelor’ Degree in Marketing or any related field
Minimum five (5) years of working knowledge in online database tools (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce)
Knowledge in implementation of online and offline marketing campaigns
Excellent analytical skills
Clear and concise and tactful written and oral communication skills
Well developed interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate consensus among diverse groups and impact activities of others not in own reporting structure
Able to work independently making appropriate, effective decisions
Ability to break complex problems down in simple elements and to solve them logically
